Getting our hands dirty! Not much progress this week. The most progress we are seeing is from our lettuce and spinach. We are not seeing much from our tomato seed and maybe we will need to try to plant more seeds.

Our plants are continuing to grow! They were mainly watered by rainwater this week. Yay to rain! Picture One: We are making our garden sign; Picture four; we are patting down our soil; Picture three: We are watering our garden; Picture four: Another selfie of us adjusting our garden sign.
Yay to week two! This week we also planted egglant and cauliflower (courtesy of Mr. Vo having some seedlings that are free for all) . In addition we made a garden sign by melting plastic bags with an iron. Woohoo! We are excited to start growing our lovely garden. Major shoutout to Katie Morris for giving our group two seedlings [the Hawaiian tomato and lettuce great lakes]. Today we planted everything that we had planned to plant in our garden layout. Unfortunately, the cucumbers that we grew during class did not sprout so we replanted those. |
