- Tomato (T)
- Gestation period: 50 days to more than 90 days
- We’ll place a stick there and let it grow alongside the other plants that need to grow on a stick
- It won't take up as much space
- It’s about a foot from the basil
- Since it will grow upwards on a stick, we placed it near the back so that it won't block the other plants from the sun
- Cucumber (C)
- Gestation period: 50-70 days
- We’ll place a stick there so that the cucumbers will climb on it, which will make it take up less space on the plot and give the other plants room to grow
- Basil (B)
- Gestation period: 3-4 weeks
- The basil is near the outer edge so that the leaves won't cover the other plants as much
- It will have good access to sunlight once it grows taller
- Spinach (S)
- Gestation period: 6 weeks
- Its placed there so that it has room to grow and gives others room to grow
- It needs a lot of water, so we placed it there so that we can water that spot more and it won't affect the other plants as much
- It also needs a lot of sun, so we put it behind lettuce, which won't grow tall enough to block the sun from it
- Lettuce (L)
- Gestation period: 45-50 days
- It's placed there so that there's enough space for it to grow
- And it wont block the spinach from the sun
- Cauliflower (Ca)
- Gestation period: 8-10 weeks
- It will get direct sunlight there most of the time, since the plants in front of it aren't tall enough to block it
- Eggplant (E)
- Gestation period: 100-120 days
- We put it there so that it would have enough room to grow.
- The leaves won't be blocked by other plants
